Ways to Download Music to Your iPhone And Save A Lot of Money

Downloading music to the iPhone without spending a fortune has been a quest for many iPhone owners. Users continue to spend a fortune on websites that charge downloads per track. Over time, the financial outlay can amount to quite a large sum. There will always be those who head for the peer to peer illegal websites which are definitely not recommended. Aside from legal and moral implications, they can often be the source of malware that can infect both your iPhone and your PC. How would you like to know ways of not only saving money but also being able to download free of charge?

The first suggestion may be fairly obvious – rip the CD's you already own into MP3 format. Your iTunes software has ripping capability and there are many other programs that can do the same thing. Entire albums can be converted in this way and thus avoid the track by track paying method.

Head for the music download sites on the internet. Many of them have tracks available to download without cost. They act as tasters either for new artists and/or for new albums. Suggestions would include Amazon, Download.com, iTunes itself and many more. Again use the search engines on the internet to tocate them and ensure you work only with reputable sites. Some of the paying sites allow a certain number of free downloads when you join as a paying subscriber. Make sure you only sign up for the options you want though as you may find monthly fees being taken from your account that you were not expecting otherwise.

The alternative to the above is to consider reputable web sites that take annual fee and in exchange allow you to download as much as you like during that time – no extra fees. If you really find the need to pay for tracks and you expect to download a lot of them, then aside from the free methods above, this is definitely the cheapest option.

So there you go – free and cheap ways to get music onto your iPhone. Once more, the iPhone proves its capability as far more than a phone – a true entertainment system.
