Tutors

Tutors
We are pleased to invite qualified Basic Skills tutors to submit their Curriculm Vitae in order to participte in LifeSight Training's success. We are particularly interested in tutors qualified to deliver ESOL classes, but all specialisms can be of interest.

LifeSight Training have a particular ethos and niche that they pursue. Their primary aim has always been to enable the government observation regarding the need for social integration. To this end, the pressures of examinations are removed with non-certified courses. This enables the learners to appropriately particpate in life rather than academics. Through themed learning they are able to apply lessons learned within their immediate environment. If any learners show an interest in achieving certification, when they have reached the appropriate standard, they are directed to a recognized channel to attain the certificate required.

Volunteers
It is often the case that a Basic Skills class will be attended by a mix of ability levels. Qualified Basic Skills tutors are trained to deal with such issues, but life is much more rewarding when the valuable assets of classroom volunteers are found.

Such volunteers quickly become an essential part of supporting those in the class who may struggle with understanding or the pace of the majority of learners in the class. At the same time, such volunteers gain valuable experience that may find a place on their CV or course study requirements.

For further information regarding either of these opportunities, please email us.
